STADIUM

Stadium "Hristo Botev" was inaugurated in 14th of May,1961 ,with a friendly game between Botev Pd and CCA(Steaua) ,won by Botev with 3:0.Hence ,it is the home of the yellow-black canaries.Lots of memorable victories have been forged on the mythical ground and lots of rivals have left with their heads low.Pridely,the thousands of fans call it their home.The stadium capacity is 25 000 people,with illumination.Before the building of "Hristo Botev" ,the football club plays its games on a ground called "The College" ,which had been situated at the same place.Until today, Botev fans call their current stadium "The College"!Botev Pd plays at the city stadium "Plovdiv" (used to be 9th of September) too, which seats 55 000 people ,has two levels ,a part of the stands are covered and up to this moment ,there is no illumination.
