HISTORY
In the begining of March, 1912, the first sport association is established in Plovdiv - "Hristo Botev" - Football Association.Constitutive protocol is created,the primary Managing Committee is voted either.The godfather of the assiociation becomes Tenyo Rusev.The players practise on the vast meadows at the "Marasha" neighbourhood and behind the "Hill of Liberators" and the games are played on the drill ground of the twenty-first infantry regiment.Football life declines in the years of The Balkan and The First World Wars.During 1917 the club's first statute is created.The club's colours are defined too - yellow-black.A few years later the club's banner is sanctified either. In 1923 sport club "Botev" becomes co-constituter of The Plovdiv Sports League, and the next year - of the Trakian Sports Federation.Rivalry to set up the National Champion and the winner of the Royal Cup of Bulgarian Football begins. Botev Plovdiv plays its games on third artillery's drill ground and on the playgrounds "Hungry Field" and "The College".Series of international matches are played.
On June ,the 2nd ,1927 ,on a official ceremony ,the three meters high chest-monument of Hristo Botev ,that is a constant part of all the stadiums at which Botev plays ,is built.
