HISTORY
Today it is in front of "Hristo Botev" Stadium.In 1929 is won the first championship title.Time and again ,the title Urban and Regional Champion is won.Participates in the National Football Division.
With the creation of the "A" PFL ,a new era of the club's history begins.By means of bureaucracy ,its name is changed numerous times - DNA Plovdiv, Sports Club Of The Army "Botev" - Plovdiv ,KCM-Botev.In 1967 the club receives it second championship title.Immediately after that ,the preposterous decision to unite three Plovdiv associations - Botev ,Spartak and Akademik - under the name Trakia is taken.
In 1972,as a result from still more reconstructions "Trakia" again becomes Sports Club of The Army, but that is no obstacle for winning the BCC.During the 80s Botev PD/Trakia/ is one of the most skillful teams not only in Bulgaria.In 1985 the club becomes a professional one.On 29 of November 1989 the prime and only legitimate name of the club - "BOTEV".Then,again,years of grandeur follow, new set of medals is obtained.Since 1997 Botev Pd gets into a never-seen financial and organizational crisis,which,pitifully,continues even in the present moment.
Today,we,the supporters of the oldest club in Bulgaria,still believe that Botev Pd will once again occupy the place where it belongs - the top of the mountain.
